Sometimes our expectations can be our biggest obst

Sometimes our expectations can be our biggest obstacle.
🏔️
Running might seem like a given ability as an athlete, but coming from a power background I had lots to learn!
With all of the marathons and times posted, it can be intimidating to simply start where you are and enjoy the process.
🏔️
The mountains and trails brought me that escape - away from known routes and expected performance. Out here I change my mindset from charging to playful, nerding out in the forest blooms and letting my body dictate the pace 🙃 Eventually finding my fitness to embrace miles on the dirt.
